Manly Diggers Swimming Club was founded to cater for ex service men and we joined in with many others around the world to mark the 100 year anniversary of Armistice Day – the ending of hostilities on the Western Front of World War I.
A wreath was laid at the pool at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918.
